Weekly Breaks - Bardsey Island
A semi-detached farmhouse next door to the home of our estate worker.
This house is sometimes occupied during the winter months by hardy souls who brave the elements in front of an open fire (although this is not permitted during spring and summer).
It has two spacious upstairs bedrooms and one smaller bedroom. The kitchen and dining room are south facing with spectacular views towards the lighthouse.
A small wooden gate in the front garden leads to meadows and eventually the wild and rugged western coastlines.
From your garden you will
often hear crashing waves and the cries
of seal, chough and oystercatcher.

Looking east towards the mountain you may see flocks of chough and an opportunistic peregrine soaring against the skyline.
