Weekly Breaks - Bardsey Island
This traditional Welsh cottage is full of character and has a living room with a small compact partitioned kitchen downstairs.
Upstairs is a most wonderful open croglofft bedroom with the base of the mattresses literally touching the inside of the slate roof. The stairs are the original sturdy ladder put in when the house was first built.
This cottage is a time
capsule with a charm and atmosphere and
a Welsh settle and dresser.
These days it is only recommended for a couple.
There are wonderful views
across the island and to the west towards
the Wicklow mountains in Ireland.
